appSolutions is looking for a service minded employee for a newly opened position at our office in Hjørring, Denmark. If you  are hungry for knowledge and looking for a challenge in proving that you are a champion in customer contact and support, then we want to hear from you.

We imagine that you have knowledge of and/or experience with:

• Technologies from Progress Software, which is our primary technology platform (www.progress.com)
• Experience in customer support
• Software Configuration Management (SCM), Change Management or general quality assurance in software development
• Programming languages: Progress 4GL, .Net, C#, Java ...
• HTML, XML, XAML 
• Eclipse (www.eclipse.org) IDE use and development of plugins
• Database design and development
• Development of database applications
• Development of n-tier og web-based applications
• Advanced use of Windows and/or Unix/Linux for application development and deployment

• We do not expect that you are able to do all of the above, but ... 

We expect that :

• you have a degree in engineering, datamatics or something similar
• you are completely fluent in written and spoken English, as English is the primary language for contact with all of our customers. 
• you can work independently and take initiatives
