appSolutions can now provide pre-built, fully functional development environments for Roundtable and Progress Dynamics: The Roundtable and Dynamics Development Snapshot.

The solutions include a fully populated Roundtable repository and associated workspaces complete with source code, compiled code, application databases and a number of enhancements to the standard Dynamics framework.

Additional enhancements include customizations for deployment of Dynamics applications and internal tools which are not part of the standard Dynamics toolset. These deployment processing tools help in automating the processing of deployments for AppServer and WebClient partitions.

The Snapshot can be used to kick-start the implementation of Roundtable TSMS for existing Progress Dynamics development environments - or simply provide a fast and stable starting point for new development. Starting a new project with the Development Snapshot will save up to a week of setup and configuration and ensure everything is set up correctly.

The Snapshot consists of a fully configured Roundtable repository, a full set of populated, compiled and completely functional workspaces: Dynamics receipt workspace, Dynamics customization workspace, application development, test and production workspaces.

Various solutions are available with Dynamics 2.1x and OpenEdge 10.x.

Custom built environments can also be made to fit your development, test and deployment needs.

Subscription services are also soon be available for regularly updated packages with Dynamics Service pack upgrades and other tool enhancements.
