Project Management

The Project Management modules are an optional integrated extension to the service parts of appSolute Management.

Tracking projects and timesheets is often an essential part of any services organisation. Organisations that need to track time and materials for billing and internal cost management can use the project Management modules for this. The modules have been developed to provide complete tracking of projects details, employees who can work on projects and the time each employee spends on activities for a project.

Projects

Multiple projects can be created for each client. 

Project details include :

• basic project and client details
• Business and Project manager
• Create, Approval, Start and End Dates
• Default billable / non-billable time
• Project Status
• Charge details

Projects Team

Project Teams and Roles

Each project consists of a Project Team. Project Teams consists of employees that are active on a project in one or more roles. Each role can be assigned charge rates, either on a role basis or on an employee's individual assignment to a project team.

Employees must be active team members to be able to register time against a project.

Project Activity

Project Activities

Project can be divided into Project Activities. These can be used to link timesheets registered against a project to spefic activities instead of creating separate projects for each set of activities.

Project activities could be linked to external tasks or activities in other systems such as Microsoft Project. 

TimeSheets and Mileage

Projects can be used to register timesheets and mileage.
