Products
Product Management is an essential component of appSolute Management. Products are linked to a product Type and can therefore be physical products such as Software and Hardware or something like Services.
Client Products is maintenance of the usage of products (in a specific version and optionally linked to a product license) which involves the management of which products a client is using and whether or not they can receive support on these products. Client Products forms the basis of the support and change management processes provided by appSolute Management.
Each product consists of Product Versions, Product Components and Product Releases.
Product Versions
Each product consists of produc versions. Product versions can be used in Client Product management, which is clients' use of a specific version of a product. Product versions are also the foundation for Product Releases.
Product Components
Product Components makes it possible to divide a product into multiple components. These components can then be used when logging calls to allow CallDesk users to register details about the part of a product that a client is registering a call for.

Product Releases
Product Releases are linked to product versions. When a Product Release is created, it is assigned to a product version. The Release then becomes a container for calls from CallDesk which have to be resolved for the completion of work to achieve the product version it is linked to.
